12th March 2012

I was asked to do a business colleagues sons wedding, I was really pleased to be asked to do this for them, I have known them for many years when I worked at Cobham Hall, there Son Adam had decided to marry his girlfriend Michelle at Cooling Castle on the 12th March 2012.

I meet with them at there home in Sussex and went through various ideas with them as well as colour & what went well at Cooling Castle as it is an old barn.

They decided to go with Ivory Chair covers & Burgundy sashes along with Blue Runners for the table, the colours were decided as Adam works in the Army Royal Horse Artillery.  They decided to go with Geberas for the centre pieces in bowls that they had bought themselves as it was a intimate wedding with only 50 people invited.  Michelle choose Red Roses for her bouquet & the grooms party button holes.  It looked stunning, I was privileged to be invited to the evening reception with my husband.

The evening buffet was lovely it had a range of different hot & cold food, it was lovely seeing the couple so happy at there first dance.  It is so nice when you get asked to do something for a business colleague and see the happiness it brings to them.

20th May 2012

I am the recommended supplier at the Village Hotel Maidstone and am lucky enough to meet there lovely brides & grooms, I meet this bride Trina Clarke at a wedding fair who was getting married here, and she was such a kind caring lady with 2 beautiful boys, her husband to be Jules Haynes is lovely and they wanted the whole theme to be around both countries coming together.  They choose Yellow, Blue & Cream, Trina wanted to do as much as she could herself, and create her dream wedding, after lots of consultations we came up with Gebera centre pieces in swell gel beads

she wanted all the colours in there too, so we died some of the gerberas for her Blue, along with the blue beads & the light it really had a lovely effect on the whole room, She choose Blue sashes to go on the Ivory chair covers & yellow runners for the table, apart from the top table where she had special sashes that we arranged for her from Bling Designs did for her, with Mr & Mrs Haynes on and the other members of the top table had Blue Sashes, with a Yellow Swag on the top as well, the top table flowers were provided by Slinders.

we also set up her sweetie station which were in order colour as well, she had the closed signs up until the evening reception, along with the flags of the countries coming together.

She also had some lovely balloons that were done by Cloud Nine Balloons Lorna Topliff which just set the room off to be picture perfect, next to our starlight backdrop which looks stunning in the evening, but even in this picture I still think it looks stunning.

Trina wanted to include the boys in the wedding and I just loved her cakes she had the traditional one & then one for the whole family , I am not sure who made it but I think you will all love it, this was sat next to the present table with our beautiful cast iron postbox.
